The Guitar Hero Version disc of this album has a better sound, as the CD is brickwalled, and GHIII has 2 versions of "Suicide And Redemption" due to 2 dif't guitar solos (one by J.H., one by K.H.).

Despite the CD's mastering, Death Magnetic, and the Beyond Magnetic EP/mini album, are Metallica's best releases for thrash metal fans who stopped caring what they did since 1988's ...And Justice For All album.
Solid album, compared to the more recent Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.
Five years time elapsed between this and St. Anger. This album is not a return to thrash metal, but some songs have a metal quality to them, and others maintain Metallica's newer modern rock trend. Overall the album was decent, and worth a listen, but any one looking "Ride the Lightning 2" will be disappointed.
i am 18 and i love metallica i have got metallica gutiar hero and i am loving one frm metallica
awesome awesome AWESOME are probably the only words that sum this cd up. I am only a 13 yr old girl but the lead breaks and the solo drumming is some HARDCORE stuff. Probably one of the best cds i have listened to in ages!
