This is a great introduction to wordless picture books. The story is clear and while there is a lot to look at on each page, it can also be read pretty quickly. Good for read-alouds.

A really creative book about the power of images and of course it's done with pictures only... pretty clever in my opinion.

A wordless picture book about art, imagination, and magic, with a diverse cast. Also, a big dinosaur. The visuals are gorgeous, and the story has just enough suspense as drawings in the park take on a life of their own.

Engages a child's imagination in a unique way. My 3 year old granddaughter loved the pictures that come to life without the use of words.

This is a great story told only in pictures. My 3yo absolutely loves it.

Amazing! Love this book! No words. Very realistic pictures. Wonderful for getting imaginations going. What would you draw with chalk that made things come to life?

The kids love the realistic illustrations in this book. It is a little bit "scary" for 2-3-year-olds but they still want to read it again.

A super book for pre-readers, and readers as well, that uses a realistic illustration style to tell a fantastical story. The plot is simple but the characters and story tension make it an exciting adventure. My almost 5 year old and 17 month old little boys both loved it equally, so much that we renewed it. Both kids really enjoyed helping tell the story.

Three children find a bag of chalk at the playground. Little do they know that the chalk is magical and what they draw comes to life. Unfortunate consequences occur when one of the children decides to draw a dinosaur. Can they escape being eaten?

This is a beautiful picture book, with photo-realistic illustrations and not one word of text. The whole store is told through the pictures, allowing parents to enter into a conversation with their children. Teachers will also love this book, as it provides many an opportunity for writing assignments.
